COMPUTER NETWORK

Thanks for computer networks! Why??

If they'd never been invented, you would not be reading this post now (using the internet)
and
I would not be writing it either (using a wireless home network)

Now, let's take a closer look at how it works!

  • switches and routers are devices that allow us to create networks and connect those networks to one another.

Step 1:Make sure all of the devices you will connect to the switch are powered OFF.

Step 2: Connect an Ethernet cable to one of the numbered ports on the switch, then connect the other end to a wired device such as a computer, a gaming console or to another switch.

Step 3: Connect an Ethernet cable to one of the ports at the back of the switch, then connect the other end to one of the Ethernet ports at the back of the router.

Step 4: Connect the supplied power adapter to the power port on the switch, then connect the other end into an electrical outlet.

Step 5:Power ON the devices connected to the switch. You should be able to use your Ethernet-enabled devices now.
