HYPERTHREADING VS HYPERTRANSPORT.

HYPERTHREADING VS HYPERTRANSPORT.

HYPERTHREADING

  1. Technique used for a core to simultaneously use two process threads at a time.
  2. It looks like two processor
  3. Technology which allows the computer to be working on more than one program at the same time.
  4. Provide a significant performance increase.
HYPERTRANSPORT

  1. Bus used by AMD for processor to system communications.
  2. Supersedes the need for the front side bus,as the memory controller is intergrated into the CPU.
  3. Transfer data from a chip to another chips or other parts on the  motherboard.
  4. It is multiported which is it can be operating several buses simultaneously at full bandwidth.
