WHAT IS ROUTER, SWITCH AND HUB?

ROUTER

-       is a networking device
-       located at gateway
-       forward data packets between computer networks
-       usually using LAN,WAN and ISP network
-       connected to two or more data lines from different networks.
-       Send information by looking packet address
-       Using routing table or routing policy
-       Data packet forwarded from one router to another through network

SWITCH

-       Also network device
-       Device that using to filter packet
-       Using OSI Reference model (layer 2 and sometimes layer 3)
-       Support any packet protocol
-       Forward packet using Lan segment

HUB

-       used to connect segments of a LAN.
-       Have multiple ports
-       When packet arrive to the port it will copy to other port

-       All segment in LAN can see all packet
