Accessing Router's Interface

Playing with GUI of a router

This week, our lecturer, En Azrul had let us play with a router and switches..

So, I decided to share some of my knowledge about router..

You could try this with your Streamyx router's at home..




Step 1 : open your web browser and simply type '192.168.1.1' (this is common ip address to access     the graphical interface of a router especially Streamyx's.

Step 2 : You will be prompted to enter the login page. Try this password, it's most common password for a streamyx's router.

usrname : tmadmin
pwd        : tmadmin

*for more passwords please do refer to http://smart-planet.blogspot.com/2010/11/streamyx-modem-routers-default-password.html depending on the router you wish to access.

Step 3 : Here you go, you should now success in accessing the GUI of a router. Good luck and happy exploring... :)
